Save the Bees

If you are reading this you probably recycle and reuse, you help others and you probably turn off your lights on earth day. You do what you can in small or large ways for the greater good.  Thank you.

To help the Honeybee you can:

  • As a consumer you have the power to move mountains because of a simple thing called “choice”. The next time you look at buying honey please choose a natural RAW honey product. Yes, it will cost more but your decision will make a difference for the greater good. (It doesn’t have to be our honey any brand of raw natural honey will do.)

  • Read about bees to better understand their nature, their plight and why they are important to mankind.

  • Support a “bee cause” you feel good about.

  • If you see a swarm of bees, stay calm and help others to do the same, leave the hive alone while finding an experienced Beekeeper to collect the swarm and prevent it from being destroyed.

  • Help to decrease the Wasp population around your home. In Canada, every Yellow Jacket Wasp seen in the spring is a queen looking to setup a nest or scavenging for one she has created.  In the fall a lonely Bald Faced Hornet is a queen (this black and white hornet is really a wasp, aka Black Jacket Wasp).
